Great job bringing this sketch to new grounds

Dude, I love this bit at the end of Summoner on PS2, when me and my friend saw it we just straight busted up cause it totally reminded us of our small group when we tried out D&D. Great sketch, and glad to see it getting a little more recognition from you brining it to the grounds.

Lacks some things

This was some great animation quality and such, however the lack of a pre-loader and of any real content was really just a let down. I think it could have been really cool, but ya never know.

You make a statment, thats great, but...

I found this vid to be very interesting in that you were very obviously making a statement about something, ie. nukes, which is rather rare in flash vids I think. I rather liked the fact that you used black and white instead of full color to sort of add to the emotion of the vid and the music was really good also. I agree with a previous review that said the pace was a bit slow with the missile, it moved towards the city at a very very slow pace and such, and the ending was very abrupt, you should lengthen the end, add some stuff, like after math, and show more sadness, is the kid killed? Or is his family killed? Show us some more footage. I hope this dosnt get blammed too quick, cause I like the fact that you say something, however I dont think it will stick around long unless you make a better version.

Good concept, but needs work

You asked for suggestions on what you could do better so I am going to give you a few. First of all, your intro was almost as long as your actual material, so either make the intro hella shorter, or add more content to the actual film. Second, your animation is terrible. the arms come off of the shoulders and at one point part of the background disapears for no apparent reason. The sound quality is not very good at all. You have pretty good artistry with your characters, however they do not match the effort put into the backgrounds at all. Try ot make things consistant. My overall suggestion is just to put a little more effort into your stuff to make it as good as you possibly can. Dont settle for something unless it is exactly what you want to see in your creation.

Well, its ironic really. Before I submitted it I spent a day panicking over "is there anything to improve?!?!??!" and backgrounds went to my mind. But you see... I've no idea how to draw background stuff, so I had to settle for that. I will try to put more effort into backgrounds and try to find out about shading.

Not particularly interesting, director has promise

This was an interesting flash film to watch, however I did not find it to be particularly interesting. I found that while the director obviously spent time and put care and thought into the creation of this video, it did not catch my attention. This could simply be due to the fack that I dont really like the song however, and hence could not really enjoy the music video. However I do have to say, in defence of the director, that just because I did not find it enteresting or entertaining, you have promise and talent. I found your vid to have excellent story boarding and mapping. You obviously know what you are doing and have the ability to make really high class vids i think. You just have to make them enjoyable to watch.
